Q:How does a PDF table work?

A:The rows of Column 1 should contain the values that can be returned from sampling. The rows of Columns 2 and beyond should contain the probability of that row's value being chosen, expressed as a percentage figure. The rows in columns 2 and beyond should sum to 100. When you refer to the table in a Distribution Pattern Dialog, or in a ‘Random’ routine operation, make sure you select the Attribute Mode called PDF Dist.
