Editor Password

If an empty password is entered, empty (initial) password is assigned.
If a password is already set, it must be entered before a new one can be entered.
Returning the Editor password back to blank removes Editor Password protection.
Model passwords are saved.
Model User (InterDyne™) key users can edit their model (temporary only) by entering Ctrl-Shift-H, only if this password has been set by the Model Developer.
When Set, this password is required to switch out of InterDyne™ mode even with editor key.


Setting the editor password prevents a user from switching from user mode to edit mode without first entering the password. It is useful where a Planimate application is shipped as a model together with a standard Planimate executable, enabling on-site maintenance of the model.
If you ship a Standalone application, there is no need to set an editor password as they do not allow switching to editor mode,
