The Editor Password provides basic security for models shipped as MDL files. Compiled standalone applications dont need a password set and are more secure.

There is no password by default. Once a password has been set and the model loads in user mode (or is switched to user mode with Ctrl-Shift-H)  then the editor password must be entered before Planimate will switch back to edit mode.

To change an existing password, the current password must be entered first.
